With childhood and adolescence increasingly shaped by technology, parents need new tools to understand online culture and its impact on offline lives. Jonathan Haidt's book, The Anxious Generation, offers a lens to explore the challenges, as well as giving strategies to strengthen our kids, our relationship with our kids, and their relationship with their phones.Featured Speaker:Naomi Broner, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University and completed her internship at Rowan University's counseling center. She practices from a psychodynamic perspective, and has experience with DBT, process groups, parent-coaching, play therapy, and time-limited treatment. Emergent adulthood and identity formation are areas of particular interest to Dr. Broner, exploring the juncture of the places we come from and where we are headed.Open admission for Lower Merion School District parents, guardians, and staff.
