Policies and Dateline for FYI and HSA website



First, thank you for volunteering to lead some of our most important Merion-related events, programs, and committees for the 2015-16 school year. In our roles handling the weekly FYI and the merionhsa.org, we work closely to ensure that your messages get communicated effectively. 

We know that you have a lot to manage for your events and in your roles. To make the communications a little easier, keep in mind these timelines and requirements:

FYI Announcements: 
 Content due by 6 pm on Monday prior to the Thurs. FYI (With a Thurs. holiday, FYI goes out Wed.; submit content by Sun. at 6 pm)
  • Requests should include all relevant details include dates, times, locations, contact information, etc.
  • This year, FYI content will be limited to about 50 words. Any additional content will be posted on merionhsa.org.
  • Send requests to Lauren Higgins (email below) or merionhsa@gmail.com


Custom web page: 
Please allow 5 working days prior to the release date (Example: If you want a page ready for an FYI announcement on a Thursday, please submit your content request by the prior Friday)
  • Requests should include all relevant details including whether the page requires a PayPal page
  • Send requests to Laurence Suaud (email below) or merionhsa@gmail.com


Friendly reminder: To include a flyer in the Thursday folder or link to the FYI/web site, please submit the flyer to Maryellen and Corinn the Friday prior to the distribution date.
