- Apple Crunch in the fall - This is a district-wide event led by Nutritional Services where each elementary school buys locally-sourced apples for each student and the kids can choose to have the apple. The liaison organizes volunteers to wash and distribute apples.
- Go for the Greens in the spring - This is also a district-wide event led by Nutritional Services where we encourage students to try two new and tasty vegetables in our school cafeterias and at home. The liaison organizes volunteers to serve the vegetables, tally votes (for the favorite vegetable) and give stamps to student participants.
