A Reminder From the Merion Nursing Staff
Please review the new PA immunization requirements. For elementary school, a fourth polio dose after age four is now required. Many already had it, but unless the documentation is sent to school, the nurse's office may not have a record of it. The updated information along with links to dental exams (for K/1 and gr 3) and the physical exam forms (for K/1 and gr 6)
are available here.
Strategies for Planning for Growth and Achievement in LMSD
When - Wednesday, June 14, 7 pm
LMSD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in the state. With enrollment expected to increase by nearly 1000 students over the next 6 years, there is a critical need to identify, review and discuss facilities options which allow for growth while supporting the District's commitment to small class sizes, programming and the full and robust implementation of our strategic plan. Community input will be an important part of the process.
Hear about the current status of our school facilities, learn about options being considered and share your priorities via a community survey (shared
with meeting attendees and to be distributed electronically). This meeting will focus on the secondary schools.
